Shadowfex, My Perfect Place

Shadowfex is the newest alternative rock band on the scene, they sound similar to The Butterfly Effect and Karnivool and hope to break into the Australian Alternative Rock scene with their newly released EP My Perfect Place.

Shadowfex describes their name as word that cannot be defined by a dictionary, but it is a band with a passion for music and creating a totally unique sound, this passion is shown through every one of the songs on the album, My Perfect Place. The four piece band from Victoria writes captivating and real lyrics and music.

Shadowfex has four male band members; Wade Miles on Bass and Screams, Justin Porch on Vocals and Guitar, Corey Tounge on guitar and Jesse Rehaut on Drums.

My Perfect Place has the titles Horizon, T.I.A, Closed Eyes, The Picture Clear and My Perfect Place. My Perfect Place captures audiences with fascinating lyrics "The Earth was a tomb, the city left to exploit, all life had been lost, existence erased". The Picture Clear possess striking images of names drawn into clouds and "ink has spilled". Whilst Closed Eyes tells "There's no use you lying here, Throw your arms around me girl, It's time to feel what I need to be real."

Talk about music is intense and provides a soft change from slow melody to shaking rock riffs and screams.

Shadowfx has already wowed audience by performing with Shihad, Airbourne, Screaming Jets, The Getaway Plan, The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Cog and Birds of Tokyo.
